Resurrection Plant

This plant, which grows on slabs of rock in Africa, comes back to life again from a severely dehydrated shrub within 48 hours on contact with water. The active ingredients are traditionally used to treat asthma, allergic reactions and burn. Rich in polyphenols, the ingredients as used in INTENSIVE MED protect the skin lipids and cell membranes against oxidation and damage caused by dehydration.

Allantoin

Is an active moisturizing ingredient, found in the root of the comfrey herb and has a lovely therapeutic action, promoting healing of the skin. It is considered an excellent anti-irritant, calming and soothing inflamed skin.

Panthenol

Is a form of Vitamin B5, is mostly used as a humectants, a substance that helps retain moisture. Panthenol’s molecular structure allows it to attract moisture from the atmosphere and bind to water molecules, so helps moisturize skin and stop from getting dehydrated.

Chia Seed Oil

Thanks to its high alpha-linolenic acid and linoleic acid content, chia seed oil supports anti-inflammatory and regenerative processes in the skin. It also helps to reduce transepidermal water loss and contains natural antioxidants.

APPLICATION:
